The Hastings Lab

RNA Biology and Therapeutic Discovery

The Hastings Lab investigates the molecular basis of human disease and RNA therapeutics as treatments for disease. Usher syndrome, Batten Disease and other lysosomal storage diseases, cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease are just some of the conditions we study. We employ RNA therapeutics such as antisense oligonucleotides, small molecules and mRNAs in our treatment discovery process.
